The church in Soshanguve extension 13 has previously been reported to have had congregants eating hair, drinking petrol and even stripping naked while the pastor jumped on the believers. One of the latest posts on the Facebook page reads: “The Man
of God declared a snake to become a chocolate (chomp) and the congregants ate it. We have authority to change everything into anything and it will obey because of our authority.”
Facebooker Faith “FD” Dikgale said: “This is a joke right? If it was someone doing such acts in the name of Allah, by Islamic act they would be put down as soon as possible! Don’t get me wrong. I am not condoning violence, just that people tend to be so gullible they follow men. And we Christians have been ignoring and accepting such acts, voicing out against it and saying ‘Let God deal with them’. Who the hell is this prophet guy though? These are heinous acts!!! “Is this how God did his miracles when he was on Earth? Riding humans like horses, giving his disciples serpents to eat… open your inner eyes and your inner ear… and free yourself from fake miracles and fake pastors,” wrote Olowoyo Blessing.
